For those who collect Police and or Correction collectibles this is one heck of a lot to put away or display. WOW!!! This badge is a true collectible being that it has no meaning in the Connecticut DOC.

Now if you win this auction, you not only get a very rare badge but very rare patches and pins. One is a nice Accreditation pin and the other is a circular pin about the size of a quarter just a little less. Then I have the triangular state patches that go way back. In the scans you will see that I have a patch for a hat as well as the full size. As a bonus, I am including 7 patches that are from the Department of Corrections + a couple of real sharp looking pins. I do have other from other states I will be installing in the coming weeks.

This is the last one I have of Connecticut and I think is the most incredible one being that it is gold without supervisor on it!!! These were the only ones he had from Connecticut. I bought some really neat collectibles that I will be listing in the coming weeks.

I found him and he had quite a bit more but no Connecticut. I did go down to Sunrise to try and find the seller of all of these weird badges. (How, where and who made it is a mystery to me and I suppose to those who collect this type memorabilia would also be extremely puzzled on those facts). It is brand new and has never been used and obviously for good reason, not only does this badge carry no authority but the badge has no purpose in the Connecticut Department of Corrections. Again, this badge was found at a very large what you might call a rummage sale or flea market in Sunrise Florida on one of the over 400 tables. They now have their name and badge embroidered right into their uniforms which makes this badge obsolete. The one you are bidding on is gold and a different shape than the one in that photo. It mearly just shows what a clip back looks like. The picture showing the back is not the badge you will be receiving. The bizzare part of this badge is #1-(Regular officers once wore chrome colored badges, not gold with a pin back not a clip and #2-(Only Supervision wore gold and one more #3(The Connecticut Department of Corrections no longer wear metal shields (badges).
